At TheIndiArt, we take great care in packaging and delivering your handcrafted products safely and on time. This policy outlines everything you need to know about our shipping and delivery process.
1. Order Processing
Once your order is successfully placed and payment is confirmed, we begin processing it within 1–2 business days. Business days are Monday through Saturday, excluding public holidays. You will receive an order confirmation email with your order details immediately after purchase. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number.
2. Delivery Timeframes
Standard delivery across India typically takes 3–7 business days from the date of dispatch. Delivery timelines may vary depending on your location. Metro cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Pune generally receive orders within 3–4 business days. Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities and remote areas may take up to 7–10 business days. We appreciate your patience as our artisans carefully prepare your order.
3. Shipping Charges
We offer free shipping on all orders above ₹999. For orders below ₹999, a flat shipping fee of ₹79 is applicable. Shipping charges, if any, will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. We do not charge any hidden fees.
4. Packaging
Every product at TheIndiArt is carefully packaged to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. We use eco-friendly packaging materials wherever possible to minimize our environmental impact. Fragile or delicate items such as pottery and glassware are wrapped with extra protective padding. If you receive a damaged package, please take photos and contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an SMS and email with your tracking number and a link to track your shipment in real time. You can also track your order by logging into your TheIndiArt account and visiting the 'My Orders' section. If you face any issues with tracking, please contact our support team at contact.theindiart@gmail.com.
6. Delivery Partners
We work with trusted logistics partners including Delhivery, Shiprocket, BlueDart, and India Post to ensure reliable and timely delivery across India. The choice of delivery partner may vary based on your pin code and the nature of the product. All our delivery partners are required to handle packages with care and professionalism.
7. Failed Delivery Attempts
Our delivery partners will make up to 3 delivery attempts. If delivery is unsuccessful after 3 attempts, the package will be returned to our warehouse. In such cases, you may contact us to arrange a re-delivery. Please note that re-delivery charges may apply. Ensure that the delivery address and contact number provided during checkout are accurate.
8. Delays and Exceptions
While we strive to deliver within the estimated timeframe, delays may occasionally occur due to natural calamities, public holidays, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our control. During peak seasons such as Diwali, Holi, and other festive periods, delivery timelines may be slightly extended. We will proactively communicate any significant delays to you via email or SMS.
9. International Shipping
Currently, TheIndiArt ships only within India. We are actively working to expand our delivery network internationally. If you are an international customer and wish to place an order, please contact us at contact.theindiart@gmail.com and we will try to assist you on a case-by-case basis.
